Fantastic Food Even Better Service I had the brie to start and the pasta for my main both dishes were divine! the smokiness in the pasta which the reach creaminess was delicious. The service really stood out. There's such a lovely vibe the staff made us feel really welcome. Especially Alan at the bar and our server Lynette we will definitely be back for another visit

Lovely place to visit, staff very friendly I had called in to the Newtown mount Kennedy Bar as I was waiting for my wife who was at a function nearby , and I must say the food was lovely, really friendly staff and very reasonable pricing , I would definitely go back again I had chicken tenders and sticky toffee pudding Would highly recommend!

Great people, great food, accessible but authentic: County Wicklow's gateway, in fact ... Smart but also, equally, a friendly place with great food and fabulous service, good for meeting, eating and just being happy.I was here for my Bloomsday birthday, which I usually spend in Dublin. I've been looking for a while for something quieter, but still accessible to the city I have to count as my fave of all time.In Newtownmountkennedy I've found a place where a chilled Irish enjoyment is its middle name. It's got a Dunnes and a local grocer's, too; a great couple of coffee places; a lovely hotel in the Parkview; an hourly bus into Dublin town just in front of the same as well as other local services, all amazingly priced; and -- more importantly than any of this -- the Mountkennedy Inn. As I said at the top, it's one of the smartest eateries and pubs I've been in, but it's welcoming too; doesn't make you feel out of place or a stranger in any way; just says "how yer doing", and then professionally takes it from there.Tomorrow I leave Ireland for a bit, but I aim to make Newtownmountkennedy a future base. And I hope at some time not *too* far in the future.County Wicklow and its peoples are ace. Really really grand. Dunno why I hadn't stumbled across this place of clear air with its gentle edge of sharp intake of breath sooner. But now I have.

Birthday celebration great food, music, staff and atmosphere First time to visit and we will be back. Excellent food, lovely staff, great atmosphere, live music and stunning decor. I had the thai red curry which was delicious others in my group had fish, burgers, steak and all were delicious.

Perfect place to be Het is een geweldige plek om te eten en te drinken. Lekker relaxed en alle lokale bewoners trekken ook naar binnen voor een lekkere pint guinness. Ik voel mij zeer welkom hier. De bediening is aardig en betrokken. Na onze derde keer hier te eten herkende de gastheer ons direct. Bedankt voor de service en het super lekkere eten. Ik raad the mountkennedy inn ZEKER aan!

Great food and service Was there for dinner this evening with children and very family friendly. Food was great and service prompt. Was very busy but young waitress ( blond girl) nothing was a hassle. Recently upgraded the furniture amazing. Comfy and welcoming atmosphere.
