OUR STORY

Thanks for stopping by, The Mount Kennedy Inn is situated on the main street of Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow.

We pride ourselves on having a unique, high-quality offering of food and service. We’re under new management as of the end of 2021.

We have got an even better menu in 2022 for you to choose your favourites from, as well as a few new choices too. The menu is updated by chef regularly and we try to source what’s in season and locally produced as much as possible.

Our Chef and his team

Aiden, Our Head Chef.

Cathal Brugha trained, Aidan has extensive experience already from working in busy and fast-paced Gastro Pubs to Senior Chef de Partie in Harvey Nichols Brasserie. Aidan has gone on to train as a Sous chef and finally as head chef in a very popular Wicklow based hotel running numerous aspects of food and catering from buffet to restaurant and large weddings. Aidan is qualified and fully Trained in COSHH, in HACCP, Manual Handling & First Aid.
